Lupita Quintana, Alum (2008)
Lupita Quintana was highly recommended to St. Mary’s College at Notre Dame by Mrs. H.'s sister, Judge Gloria Ybarra, a St. Mary's graduate who later served as a Board of Trustees. Lupita left home, to a place she had never visited, on a journey that would result in a Bachelor of Science in Cellular/Molecular Biology, Minor in Philosophy followed by receiving her Master of Science in Global Health from the University of Notre Dame. Lupita has never let her dreams diminish and is currently in her second year in pursuit of a PhD in Public Health with an Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences concentration at the University of Illinois/Chicago. A brilliant scholar, Lupita is committed to creating change as a Graduate Research Assistant, a Teaching Assistant for Global Health Challenges, and a Traineeship with the CDC in Industrial Hygiene. Congratulations Lupita - Adelante!!
