Robert Torres, Alum (2014)

Robert has received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Performance and Sports Psychology from Grand Canyon University. He then became employed with Terros Healthcare while continuing his education, most recently obtaining his Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Health Psychology, also from Grand Canyon University. In his two years at Terros Robert has been able to connect experience to his education, working in crisis response alongside mental health agencies, police and fire. In his role, he connects clients to various services, assisting them in the prevention of suicide through supportive care. He enjoys his chosen career as one of great value and now also provides training and guidance to new hires. Prior to working at Terros, Robert coached cross country and track and field at Apollo High School taking his team to state finals. While he is quite busy, Robert always finds time to volunteer for AGUILA, modeling a commitment of Paying it Forward in guiding students who follow his lead and share his dream of education and service in creating a better world.
